Echo Otey (he/they) is a freshman and NYC Scholar at Northeastern University. He is studying Journalism to engage with the world of communications, human relations, and information; and is passionate about the fair and unbiased distribution of news, searching for and shedding light to stories that matter, and carving out his own niche in the current industry of digital and written journalism. He otherwise spends time at punk shows, thrift shops, and art studios, and enjoy engaging in long discussions about music, politics, and philosophy.
