Hey everyone, current, and new members!

I’m Gabrielle Fiorella, The Monitor’s new Editor-In-Chief for the 2020-2021 school year! I am a sophomore majoring in Digital Journalism, and minoring in International Studies. I just wanted to introduce myself, as I will now be the one in which new members will reach out to and correspond with about any questions and even potentially writing or editing.

The Monitor is always open to new staff writers, and copy editors. Students can come and go as they please, writing once in a while on certain topics they are interested in, or they can stay for the long run (which is what we really hope for and are looking for) and become a member of our wonderful staff. We need all the writers and editors we can get to really keep up to date with what is going on in the school and outside of it too.

I am so looking forward to meeting all of our new members, from ones that join at the beginning of the semester, to ones that join later on. This is going to be a great year for The Monitor and I can’t wait to hear all of your collective ideas and voices come together under one publication.
