Campus dining sent an email to students, faculty and staff about a “Bread Tasting” on April 8th happening from 11:30 am till 1pm in the fourth floor cafe.
When 11:30 rolled around three students, two staff members and Interim President of MMC Peter Nacarato were seen in line in a small room behind the counter in the cafe for the four tables overflowing with desserts, pastries and all kinds of bread. Most were seen leaving the room with three or four take out containers full of bread.
Despite the day being the farthest from celiac friendly, students such as Ariel Strochkova literally broke bread together in the Intercultural center saying “this is one of those moments im going to remember for years after I graduate”
