Welcome to this week’s edition of What’s in the Cards. This reading is for the week of October 21 through 27.
The card for this week is The Tower, flipped on the dark side. This card depicts a great calamity. People fall from a great height, as a lightning storm unleashes on them from above. Ordinarily, The Tower represents chaos and interrupted stability. The single tower depicted leads us to
believe that this disruption is applied to a single point in our lives that we see as stable or incorruptible.
It’s a strong card. However when a card appears in reverse, the meanings of this card tend to be muted. On its dark side, the card communicates to us that while some part of our lives may be changing in unexpected ways, we must remember to approach this change with acceptance and practicality.
This week the cards guide you to receive reality. You may have had your head in the clouds. Choose to ground yourself, or face being grounded by force.
