Tarot isn’t for everyone. We’re not here to tell you magic is real. We’re here to pick a card and tell you what it means. These readings are general. Whether it applies to you is for you to determine. Maybe the card represents an internal situation, maybe an external one. Or maybe none. Tarot is a tool for us to understand ourselves. Decide whether you will use it. Whether you believe a spirit guides the cards or it’s your subconscious trying to send you a message you decide.
A universal truth for humans is that the unknown is scary and through these readings I wish to make you a little less scared of the upcoming week by providing some answers. This week I will provide the simplest kind of reading, a one card reading.
The card that I pulled is the light devil. The devil card can seem scary to someone who doesn’t read tarot but as we learn over time each card can have a multitude of meanings. This card is an early warning to not be led astray by bad habits. This card being the light side means you currently have good habits and are on a good track but to be aware to not be led away from your path.
Some specific meanings of this card for school is that we have started the semester strong with a good study schedule and a good balance between work and fun but we need to be careful not to have too much fun or our work could suffer or conversely be so focused in our work that we are isolated from what brings us joy so as we head into the third week of the semester be aware not to lose track of the balance in your schedule that you have right now.
There is much more to learn about tarot so follow along throughout the semester and if you have a question you want answered in a future reading, DM us @mmcthemonitor.
